About Cornerstone Court
Over a decade ago, Jonathan and Marsha Stone, along with their family, visited the magic that is Nosara for the very first time. Wanting to experience fresh, local cuisine, they asked the property manager to recommend someone who would come and cook some meals for them at the house they rented in Guiones. As fate (luck? God?) would have it, Damaris Matarrita showed up and a fast friendship struck!
For the last ten years, the Stone and Matarrita families have become like one big Costa Rican familia. So, when the patriarch, Manfred Matarrita , called with an idea to purchase Il Pepperoni in playa Pelada and expand its offerings, the connection of the families took a giant step forward. And the rest, as they say, is history!
Cornerstone Court was born! In a newly remodeled and refurbished setting, the iconic Il Pepperoni is back! In addition, Isa’s Bakery, Mangoes Juicery, and Tico’s Tacos have joined the space.
Our aim is have the freshest food, best service, and a gathering place for friends old, new and the ones we have yet to meet! Come as you are ~ ALL are welcome!
